What is the contest for August?

**** Create a Four Winds Isle Artifact ****

This month, we invite you to create a Four Winds Isle Artifact. This artifact must 
be something that is tied to the history of Four Winds Isle, either current or past, 
and meet all of the below requirements:

1. 15/15/15 of the artifact.
2. Either a long or a show description.
3. A short history of the item and why it would have been found on Four Winds Isle.
4. Up to four verses of loresong for the item.

Entries that do not include the first three parts will not be considered eligible. 
Contestants have until midnight PST on August 30th to get entries to me.

Ten winners will be chosen from the submitted entries.

Like all Premium Monthly Contests, entries are subject to change based on the 
discretion of the GMs and QC. Thandiwe will not judge this contest.

Entries will be judged during the first week of September. The winners will be 
announced as soon as possible afterwards. Thandiwe reserves the right to make 
any changes to items that she or QC deems necessary.

MY ENTRY


1. 15/15/15 of the artifact.
 
A discolored crumpled paper

2. Either a long or a show description.
 
The creased rectangular banknote  has a rip on one edge giving that edge a serrated 
appearance. Dark lettering proclaims the paper to be a 'Frostacre Banknote'. However 
elemental damage, compounded by a deep red substance absorbed into the surface, has 
helped to obscure references to the note's value.
 

3. A short history of the item and why it would have been found on Four Winds Isle.

In the year 5108, the banknote was removed from circulation in favor of the Mist 
Harbor banknote. Although there may be some frostacre notes still in the hands of private 
collectors, this note is believed to represent one of the last banknotes from a time now 
gone. Unfortunately it's value is unknown due to the condition of the note which has 
led to some speculation about it.
 
 
4. Up to four verses of loresong for the item.
 
 
I concentrate upon this task
and to this end I now do ask
Paper, nestled within my hand
What value have you in the land.

A simple object some may find
But tell your purpose to my mind
Paper, I seek now to acrue
The knowledge of purpose, tell me true

The cover of a book deceieves
And what the eye sees it believes
Paper, what lies beneath to see
Your special ability reveal to me

As simple rock from dwarven hill
Can into weapons power instil
Paper, tell my now the magic you hold
And to my mind that knowledge unfold.
