What is the contest for March?

**** Create A Clothing Annex ****

This month, we invite you to create a clothing annex for the Mist Harbor Boutique. 
It should meet all of the requirements below and in the order listed:

1. Room Name - not to exceed 32 characters
2. Room Description - not to exceed 511 characters
3. Room Items - at least two items should be part of the room description and 
have details
4. Room MUST be in the design of a clothing shop.

Entries that do not include all three parts will not be considered eligible. 
Contestants have until midnight PDT on March 31st, 2011 to get entries to me.

Ten winners will be chosen from the submitted entries.

Radiant light pours through small windows framed by plush ruffled curtains. 
The light, supplemented by superfluous mounted candles, bounces off a rows of 
ornate oak chests set against the wall. Various fabrics protrude from several 
of the chests. An elaborate rack stretching the length of the room, creates two 
natural walkways. An ornamental loom rests upon the floor at the far end of the room.

The black finished rack displays ornate metalwork. Twisted vertical struts 
provide stablilty to elongate horizontal frame. A series of gracefully curved 
feet protrude from the base. Wrought iron hooks hang from sections of the upper frame. 



Loom
The loom is constructed from burnished oak, with worn foot treadles. Rigid 
heddles are fixed in place upon the sleak vertical shaft. various threads 
passed through spaces between the heddles have created a muliticolored 
display of half woven cloth. A boat-shaped shuttle is nestles precariously 
upon the frame.

[Finery and frippery]


Brightly painted figures adorn the walls, providing a deliberate contrast 
to the plain coloured wall surface. Interspersed between the figures are 
multi-levelled clothing displays, hanging from a wall mounted rack and 
ornate cords that extend from floor to ceiling. Upon the uncluttered wooden 
floor is a large columnar display case showcasing some of the wares.



Display case
Stylish and delicate, the freestanding display case has a solid oak frame, 
with a polished finish. The frame secures crystal clear glass in place. 
Within the case are a series of shelves, with the same decorate moulding 
as the wooden base. Four gilt trim feet support provide stability to the 
case. The glass case provides a perfect showcase for some of the colorful wares.



Figures 
Startingly colourful, male and female painted mannequin-like figures have been 
painted with care in different poses and in different scenes. Each figure 
sports items of clothing available for purchase. The figures provide a perfect 
backdrop to the clothing displays.
