Character, account, Wyrom, something else? Is it the same fluff message whether you have a disk or not? e.g. something like "The shadowy Wyrom disk glances off Wyrom and hums" wouldn't work if it was the message for no disk as well as the message for already altered disk. _________________________ For the subject line. Make it your character name. As for the messaging, let me provide an example of a disk changer that previously was won via raffle. No Disk (so it does something when you don't have a disk.) Raising your obsidian orb, shadowy tendrils ooze out from the orb, causing the air around you to grow dark. After a moment, they sink back into the orb, returning the air around you to normal. (fluff messaging) Disk - (This is the change if you do have a disk.) Suddenly, your orb comes to life, spewing shadowy tendrils into the air. The tendrils of shadow slither through the air toward your disk, transforming it. Once complete, the orb returns to its lifeless state. (First person - when disk) You also see the shadowy Wyrom disk. (description of disk) Almost cloaked in complete darkness, shadowy tendrils grasp at the air around the disk, which appear to be probing the air in search of something. The shadowy Wyrom disk is hovering in mid-air around you. (third person - when disk) The last line is always included with disks. _________________________________ * An item description for the disk changer. Can have a long or a show (or just a base 15/15/15). Normal ALTER rules apply. a faenor and Silver flower totum * 1st Person messaging for activating the disk changer when raised. A shimmering light springs from your totum and petals fall uniformally from its surface onto your disk, enveloping it and falling away to reveal a disk covered in blooms. A bee is embedded within the central bloom. (First person - when disk) * 3rd Person messaging for activating the disk changer when raised. Shrouded in a bright light, petals fall from the totum to the disk, joining to form a single enveloping layer. The layer recedes to reveal a disk covered in multiple blooms with a bee embedded in it's centre. The bloom-covered Wyrom disk is hovering in mid-air around you. * Description of the new disk. Only the article can be changed. And it must include the word "the" to start it off. So an example would be "the shadowy Wyrom disk." Only "the shadowy" can be changed. Limited to 15 characters. the bloom-covered Wyrom disk * A show description for the disk. Limited to roughly 500 characters. Bright pink blooms form a profuse outer layer on the surface of the disk. Each petal has a delicate crystal-like fragility and the disk's movement results in a gentle cascade of petals to the ground. A bee works with industry within the centre of the blooms, unmoved by the world beyond the explosion of pink before it. * 1st Person messaging for fluff messaging when raised. The petals retract into the flower head and your totum shudders within your hand. A wasp emerges from the centre of the totum, buzzing irritably before seeking refuge within it's centre once more. The shuddering subsides and the petals extend outwards once more * 3rd Person messaging for fluff messaging when raised. The petals disappear into the flower head and the totum seems to vibrate. A wasp emerges from the centre of the totum, buzzing irritably before disappearing. The vibrating seems to stop and you notice the petals open once again. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX >raise fetish You point a steel and obsidian spider fetish at your disk. Black mists rise to encircle the disk. When the mists dissolve, the disk is entirely covered in dense grey spiderwebs. Unnoticed until now, a few small insects trap themselves almost immediately among the sticky strands. >l brute disk Grey spiderwebs cluster thickly over the exterior of the disk. A few insects have apparently encountered the disk in their flight, for a few tiny legs and wings waggle feebly from among the dense strands. There is no sign of the webs' creator. The web- covered Brute disk is hovering in mid-air around you. >raise fetish The petals fall slowly and purposely. However seekingYou set a steel and obsidian spider fetish flat on your palm, and the fetish animates. The spider skitters this way and that before rearing upward and striking out at the air. Then, the spider resumes its former position and stills back into the immobility of steel. ________________ * An item description for the disk changer.
