Interview with Tebon Hawggweiler

Interview held on Niiman, day 21 of the month Lormesta in the year 5110

QUESTIONS

1: What is your name (required) and training level (not essential)

Tebon Hawggweiler of tha Wsalamir Clan.

2: How long have you wandered the lands?

Giver 'er take....13 ta 14 years.

3: What hunting style do you opt for?

Started out as a board an' sword user, an' stayed that way fer meny a year, til I learned that tha way ta go is usin' a maul. No matter how big sumthin' is, tha Cone of Maul when ye's multi-strike sum poor evil critter...jus' plain nasty. Fear tha maul.

4: What percentage of your time do you spend hunting? How do you spend your other time?.

I seem ta be busy doin' sumthin' all tha time. I spend quite a bit of time huntin, both solo an' wit friends or my wife, Cosannie. An' when I'm nae huntin' I kin be found socializin' wit folks, or werkin wit one of tha several groups I'm a part of. Those bein' House Onoir, tha Order of tha Silver Gryphons, House Phoenix which I'm an officer of, or as a Mentor of Silverwood helpin' out turnip farmers who are lookin ta learn tha ropes of bein' an' adventurer an' nae a farmer.

5: What is and/or was your most enjoyable hunting area and why?

Hrmm...while my preference on eny given day is enyplace I kin release some undead, back in my earlier days, tha Mound in tha Graveyard was always fun. I do enjoy hittin' round in Bonespear as well..

6: What do you enjoy most about your time in the lands?

Fer tha mos' part, tha people. Interactin' wit either friends or complete strangers. Yer fellow adventurer's makes Elanthia wat it is, enjoy it..

7: Is there anyone within the lands that you admire? (Any profession) Who and why?

Quite a few folks actually. I try ta live my life Honorably, wit a strong sense of Duty. While I kinnae name 'em all, a few of 'em woul' be Sir Cryheart, Sir Morgiest, Metadi, Shirkon, Truekillr, Sir Valicar, Perigourd, Missoni, Kinshack, Kerl, Nilandia, Dame Deavon...feh, I coul' go on an' on prolly, but I admire these folks fer the way they carry themselves, that they are true to their beliefs, an' ye's always know wat yer gettin' when ye's speak ta eny of 'em..

8: What has been your best moment in the lands so far?

Few instances come ta mind that I'm proud of. Such as leadin' House Onoir as their Lord Paladin, or durin' tha second Griffin Sword War, 'avin' my peers ask me ta be tha Field Marshal of tha Elanthian Alliance while we were down in tha Elf Lands.

9: What has been your worst moment in the lands so far?

Nae meny things I woul' justify as bein' my worst moment....mebbe back when I had jus' earned my title of "Lord" on my twentieth trainin', jus' so happens that some trolls decided ta invade tha Landin'. Feh, I was rather sure of myself an' jumped right in. First troll king I met, took a big swing, an' chopped it's head off! I thought. As I stood there pattin myself on tha back, it stood back up, ripped my arm off, an' then commenced ta beatin me ta death wit my own arm.

10: What advice would you give to a new warrior?

Dun't train fer tha now, train fer wat ye's want ta be. Dun't be short sighted. Ye's may nae be able ta stand toe ta toe wit some big ol' nasty right now, but ifin ye's spread yer trainin skills out properly, down tha road, ye's will be tha perfect fightin' machine. Well balanced, an' deadly. Especially ifin ye's use a maul, heh..

11: If you had to do it all again, knowing what you now know, would you do anything differently?

Mebbe start usin' a maul earlier than I did, other than that...nae...perty happy wit things.

12: Is there anything you want to add to this interview?

Feh, bein' a fiter is a hard road. Aye, you'll hear tha finger waglers complain about how hard it is fer them ta do enything when they're young, cause they kinnae roast marshmallows wit their fingers yet. From day one, a fiter needs ta learn ta be reliant of themselves. Learn yer skills well, learn yer enemies an' their tactics well. Fiters kin take a beatin' so dun't be afraid ta get scratched up. Finger wagglers call us meat shields fer a reason...cause they get tapped upside tha head...poof! There goes their fightin' ability. Fiters get tapped upside tha head...jus' ticks us off an' we 'zerk 'em.
Cone of Maul.
Fear tha Maul.
